My name is Andrew Zigo and I flat out love the game of wallyball. I have been playing this fun sport for the past 20 years. I have coordinated leagues, hosted tournaments and competed out of state. I used to play sand volleyball and still play some indoor volleyball but wallyball is my favorite. My friends and I compete in the Advanced to Open level of play.
I have some great friends thanks to wallyball and have made several new ones traveling to tournaments. We play 3-4 days a week in Zanesville, Ohio (50 miles southeast of Columbus) but it is new competition and playing unfamiliar faces that drove me to create this website.
I spent years trying to find other places and people to play and it was via the internet that I found players in Kentucky, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Michigan that love to play as much as we do. It is my goal that this site will keep players in contact with each other as well as find new ones. It would be great to have wallyball thrive in Ohio again like it did in the 1980s when towns like Columbus and Findlay would host AWA events.
Are you a player looking for some good competition? Do you have a club and want to bring wallyball to your facility? If so, I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for visiting and come back often.
-Andrew
